Questions about March 5th Optimal Nutrition in Pregnancy Class

Q & A about the Online Optimal Nutrition in Pregnancy Class

About The Instructor

  • Bachelors Degree in Natural Health Science with a concentration in Clinical Nutrition and Women's health from The University of Natural Medicine
  • Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University
  • Nutritional Herbalist Certificate  from The School of Natural Healing
  • Nutrition and Health Author I write nutrition related articles for Natural News
  • Master's Degree in Traditional Naturopathy I am currently enrolled in my second year
  • Student Midwife
I have taught Nutrition classes at wellness centers, continuing education programs, health food stores and many other venues for about 7 years.  I have done extensive research over the last 7 years in nutrition and have been particularly focusing on nutrition in pregnancy for the last several years.

The information I present in my classes is information you will not hear anywhere else.  I have written articles about the conflicts of interest that drive the USDA nutrition recommendations which are the recommendatinos that all Colleges and Universities follow in their courses on Nutrition.  The truth about nutrition needs to be known, without the influence of financial interests.

I could teach an 8 week course on everything I have learned about nutrition through a lot of research.

When is the class and how do I attend?

The Class Date is March 5th 2011 at 11am MST

This will be an online class offered through a webinar.  Once I recieve your registration through paypal I will send you an email receipt to let you know I received registration.  I will send out the link and information about connecting to the webinar by March 1st.

There has been a lot of interest in this class so if you cannot make it to this class please contact me and let me know, I will keep your name on a list and let you know of the next scheduled class.

What if I pay for the class and Can't attend?

I realize that you may be called to a birth or have other circumstances that may prevent you from attending the class.  If this happens you can choose one of several options:

  • Register for the next available class
  • Receive a full refund
  • You can receive an MP3 download of the class.
How Long will the Class Be?

This is unfortunately hard to answer, I am trying to keep the class to two hours, however depending on questions or other circumstances it could very well go longer than that.

Will you record and offer the class for sale?

I am working on this, I have the equipment to do so, the trick is figuring out how to use it :-D  I am working with a few tech savvy friends and I will certainly offer the class for sale once I get that worked out.

Please don't hesistate to ask any questions you may have, you may contact me at:

Sift through the confusion and learn what the scientific literature shows about optimal nutrition

I have been appalled at the misinformation being taught to pregnant women by child birth educators and midwives.  It is critical that solid education be given so that pregnant women can receive proper information on what they can do to affect the outcome of their pregnancy.

Much of the confusion about diet and health has been caused by special interest groups funding research and promoting diets based on products they sell rather than truthful information about optimal human nutrition.
